Due to continued growth, we are looking for another Junior Estimator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Estimating & Bid Management, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Responsibilities

• Collate all relevant documentation for the preparation of trade shop drawings and the measurement of quantities.
• Maintain contact with sites for clarification of any issues regarding queries of plans/drawings.
• Receive, register and track drawings and update superseded drawings.
• Collect information for tender preparation as requested by Senior Estimator.
• Visit site to gain better construction knowledge and pre-tender compilation.
• Prepare pricing comparisons as directed.
• Plan copying, general office administration and filing.
• Provide Estimating Team with initial review of technical contents of documentation(drawings).
• Provide Estimating Team with enhanced drawings in accordance with Parkview standard to assist in the preparation of the detailed Estimate of Cost.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning by actively participating in the Estimating Development Training Program and completing all associated paperwork in required timeframes.

Skills & experience:

• Recently graduated with a degree in Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills 
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and subcontractors
• Positive temperament with established presentation skills
