The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and coordinate on-site activities in line with the construction program, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a senior site-based role with direct responsibility for managing teams, resources, and site performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead site operations with a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring compliance with best practice standards.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor site staff, including participants in the Leading Hand/Sub-Foreman Training Development Program.
  • Plan and control site construction activities for maximum productivity and resource efficiency.
  • Maintain quality assurance and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and environmental requirements.
  • Monitor construction programs, updating progress weekly.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager on operational issues affecting timelines, cost, or delivery.
  • Oversee site setup and maintain compliance with safety codes in partnership with safety supervisors.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, authorities, and consultants.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certificate IV in Building & Construction (minimum).
  • Minimum 6+ years experience in a Site Manager role on high rise construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects valued over $50M.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings, providing constructive design feedback.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written communication and administration skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional, proactive, and able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
